Who is responsible for your data
the owner of RonRender, trading as RonRender, Waterford, Ireland, is the data controller. Contact: support@example.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
- Your uploads and videos: the clips and images you upload, and the videos we make. These can show you or other people.
- Credits and payments: your credit history and plan. Card details go to Stripe and Link, never to us.
- Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, used to stop abuse and keep the service secure.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To provide the service (making your videos, your account, emails about your renders and purchases): to perform our contract with you.
- To check uploads for safety (automatic checks for nudity, children and well-known people) and to prevent abuse and fraud: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and lawful.
- To keep financial records: our legal obligations under Irish tax law.
We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use your uploads or videos to train AI models. We only send marketing emails if you’ve asked for them.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers, who process data on our instructions:
- Supabase: database, login and file storage, hosted in Ireland (EU).
- Vercel: website hosting.
- fal.ai: runs the AI video and image models and the safety checks. Your clip and reference image are sent to fal.ai to make your video.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- Stripe and Link: payments. For most purchases Link acts as the merchant of record, so it also handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, it’s protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Uploads and finished videos: deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Account details: until you delete your account.
- Payment and credit records: 6 years, as Irish tax law requires.
- Security logs: around 30 days.
Cookies
We only use the cookies needed to keep you logged in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so there’s no cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@example.com from the address on your account and we’ll reply within one month. Deleting your account removes your uploads, videos and profile; we keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.
If you’re not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
Children
RonRender isn’t for children under 16, and images of children can’t be used as references.
